Mitsubishi PH cancels Xpander Cross public launch tomorrow

We earlier reported that Mitsubishi Motors Philippines, Corp. (MMPC) was planning to launch the Xpander Cross to the public tomorrow.  We then reported that MMPC decided to scrap the media launch because of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic but will continue with the public launch. Now, MMPC has decided to cancel the launch entirely as a safety measure for "the safety of its customers."

In view of the increasing number of reported cases of COVID-19 in the country, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has decided to CANCEL the scheduled mall display of the New Xpander Cross at Glorietta 2, Palm Drive Activity Center scheduled on March 13-15, 2020.

MMPC regards with utmost importance the safety of its customers and the general public. With this in mind, we urge everyone to continue to practice all necessary measures to stay safe and healthy.
