Dodge//SRT Reveals Updated, More Powerful 2021 Lineup
As we reported on July 1, Dodge//SRT was to reveal its updated 2021 lineup and here they are.
"I swore that we'd never build another Demon and we won't," said Tim Kuniskis, global head of Alfa Romeo and head of Passenger Cars--Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA--North America. "But I also said that every Challenger Hellcat and Redeye comes with an unspoken commitment to uphold the brand and the new Challenger SRT Super Stock is engineered to do just that."
Dodge claims the Challenger SRT Super Stock "will continue as the ultimate Dodge drag-racing model in the 2021 model year."

Following the Challenger SRT Super Stock is the Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye which, with 797hp and 959 Nm of torque through the same 6.2-liter V8 and eight-speed automatic transmission as the Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye, "is the most powerful and fastest mass-produced sedan in the world."

Putting down a time of 3.25 seconds from 0-60MPH (97KPH) and a top speed of 327KPH (203MPH), it certainly stakes it claim.
"The magic of the Dodge Charger is that it delivers all the performance of a true American muscle car while also being able to deliver a family of four or five, day in and day out," said Kuniskis. "The Charger is a big, comfortable, five-passenger sedan that can run the quarter-mile in the mid-10s, 0-60 in the mid 3s and reach a top speed of 203 mph, and be your daily driver."
The rest of the Challenger lineup also gets updated with the 717hp V8, 458hp V8, 370hp V8, and 300hp V6.

Completing the lineup is the Durango SRT Hellcat which uses the same 6.2-liter V8 engine as the previous two cars but is paired with a different-model eight-speed automatic transmission to make 710hp and 875Nm of torque to go from 0-60MPH (97KPH) in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 290KPH (180MPH).
Dodge calls the Durango SRT Hellcat as "a muscle SUV for muscle car people with families." Very fitting. Dodge, though also stated it is building the Durango SRT Hellcat "for the 2021 model year only" so it'll only see a one-year run.
The first car out of the starting line is the Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock which, the carmaker claims is "the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car" with 807hp and 959Nm of torque on tap through an eight-speed automatic transmission and a supercharged 6.2 liter V8 to go from 0-60MPH (97KPH) in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 270KPH (168MPH) using 315/40R18 Nitto NT05R drag radials as stock on all four corners.
