Cooperative in NCR Embraces PUVMP, Launches 19 Modernized Units

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board--National Capital Region, led by Regional Director Atty. Zona Russet-Tamayo, together with 997 Sandigan Transport Cooperative, launched 19 Modern UV Express units under the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).

997 Sandigan TSC was awarded their Provisional Authority for the 19 Class 3 Modern UVE units that will ply the route from SM Fairview to Buendia AvenueThe UVE units are equipped with Euro-4 engines and accessories such as dashcams, CCTV, speed limiters, Automatic Fare Collection System (AFCS), and WiFi

We will continue to support our government's PUVMP, and we will prove that we are ready to serve the people)" said Ferdinand Lupangosy, Chairman of 997 Sandigan TSC that received the 19 Modern UVE units.

The PUV Modernization Program is the flagship, non-infrastructure project of the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte with the goal of providing a comfortable life for all Filipinos through a safe, reliable, convenient, affordable, and environmentally-sustainable public transportation system in the country.
